Job Description
Technical Lead / Senior Developer (BMO):On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for a Technical Lead / Senior Developer (BMO) for a permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Technical Lead / Senior Developer (BMO) - Job Description:
The project involves leading the development and enhancement of a critical banking platform. This role requires overseeing both current platform upgrades and new development initiatives to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Technical Lead / Senior Developer (BMO) - Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of developers in designing, coding, testing, and deploying applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders effectively
Technical Lead / Senior Developer (BMO) - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks
• Experience with platform upgrades and system integrations
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Solid experience in agile methodologies
Technical Lead / Senior Developer (BMO) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in the financial services industry
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms

Qualifications
7+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead capacity. Strong, demonstrable experience with AWS services — Lambda, MSK/Kafka, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, or similar. Experience building and consuming REST APIs and event-driven systems. Hands-on ETL pipeline development experience. Proficient in at least one of: Java, Python, or Node.js. Experience with Kafka or equivalent messaging platforms (MSK, Confluent, etc.). Able to operate across both technical delivery and stakeholder/programme engagement layers. : 1 - 7 years (Required)
