Role: Data Architect

Start date: July 1, 2026

End date: October 31, 2026

Number of resources needed: 1

Location & work model: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week)

Range of target pay rate: $90-$150 CAD/hour

Qualifications:

·       Extensive experience in designing data models for data lakes, warehouses, and Lakehouse environments.

·       Strong expertise in defining data structures, standards, and governance frameworks.

·       Deep knowledge of AWS data Lakehouse technologies including S3, Glue, Iceberg, Redshift, and Athena.

·       Strong expertise in data modeling techniques such as dimensional modeling, normalized modeling, and others.

·       Proven ability to define and implement data governance and data standards.

·       Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient data architecture solutions.

·       Familiarity with performance optimization and cost management in cloud data environments.

·       Excellent communication skills to collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

·       Prior experience in banking or financial services is a plus.
